We, Bellway, have been consulting widely with local people regarding our proposals to build houses in a rural context on our land in Amersham Road in Hazlemere. Our latest proposals include a new location for the entrance, a reduction in the number of homes, more green space, updated architecture and a revised site layout. The planning application details can be viewed on the Buckinghamshire Council website if you search for application 21/08364/FUL.
In August 2019 the Wycombe District Plan, under policy reference HW8, identified the site as suitable for residential use and so established the principle of housing.
We held a public consultation exhibition of Bellway's updated plans on Monday 11th July 2022, and also displayed the exhibition boards at the Buckinghamshire Council consultation on a draft development brief on 15th July 2022 at The Stables, Barn Lane, Cedar Avenue, Hazlemere.
